-On factory farms
-In laboratories for experimentation
-In the clothing industry
-For human entertainment
We can put a stop the the cruelty and give the animals a voice. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is just one of the many animal rights organizations that want to put a stop to the horrors that people have done to animals. PETA is based within the United States making it a national organization as well as international with affiliates in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, India, and the Asia-Pacific Region. Founded in 1980, PETA is dedicated to introducing and protecting the rights of all animals. PETA functions under the simple principle that animals are not humanity's to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. PETA educates policymakers and the public about animal abuse and promotes kind treatment of animals.
